About This Course: This course is hosted via joint partnership of the TNOTA and APTA-TN. This is a hands-on, interactive course open to OTRs, PTs, OTAs, and PTAs where we will learn techniques to manage edema in our practice. This course will focus on the causes of edema, treatment options, management, and when to refer out to a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.

Presenter: Andi Heinemann, PT, DPT, CLT-LANA, is the program developer and manager of the MEND Clinic in Maryville, TN. She is a Physical Therapist and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist with the Lymphedema Association of North America with over 25 years of experience treating edema in many forms.

CEU Opportunity & Cost: $150 for recent clinical instructors (CIs), $200 for non-CIs. It is approved through the APTA TN and TNOTA for 6.0 CEUs. A light breakfast and lunch will be included.
