Presenter: Kimberly A. Masker, OTD, OTR/L, CHT, received her OT degree from Washington University in 2000, and received her post-professional doctorate in OT from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) in 2015. She earned her CHT designation in 2007. Kim’s clinical practice is at The Hand Center at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee. Her professional interests focus on nerve injuries, wounds, upper extremity multi-trauma, and treatment of musicians. She has been an adjunct professor of occupational therapy as well as a frequent guest speaker. She is currently an adjunct professor as well as Concentration Track Director for the Hand Therapy track in the post-professional occupational therapy doctorate program at RMUoHP. She enjoys writing for various hand therapy related publications and blogs. She serves as a consultant for Axogen on studies such as pain and peripheral nerve injuries. She has volunteered for several years with the American Society of Hand Therapists, has served as board member as Director of the Education Division and currently as Secretary Treasurer, and is co-editor of the recently released 4th edition of the CHT Test Prep Book. She currently serves as Secretary Treasurer of the Northeast District of the Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association.
