Description of course: This presentation details the basics of seating and positioning. We will discuss pelvic deviations, indicators for intervention and a basic overview of wheelchair components.

By completion of this presentation:

1. The participant will have an understanding of what seating and positioning entails.

2. The participant will be able to name the 4 most common deviations in the pelvis that have an effect on seating and positioning.

3. The participant will have an understanding of basic wheelchair components
