Speakers:Kevin Gibson, PT, DPT, Director of Rehabilitation Services
Currently serving as Physical Rehabilitation Director at Church Health in Memphis, Tennessee, Kevin leads rehabilitation services for one of the most mission-driven healthcare organizations in the country. Founded in 1987, Church Health has grown into the largest faith-based healthcare organization of its type nationally, serving tens of thousands of patients annually — providing physical therapy services to uninsured Church Health patients and MEMPHIS Plan participants on a sliding scale fee basis. In this role, Kevin has championed not only the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation care but also the expansion of services to meet the growing needs of underinsured and underserved Memphians — including actively advocating for the integration of occupational therapy within the Church Health model.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia in 1995. He subsequently earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002, followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy, also from Virginia Commonwealth University, in 2009. He holds active membership in both the American Physical Therapy Association and the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association.
