About This Course: This course will discuss the role that occupational therapy practitio ners in various settings play in helping a patient begin, return to, or ret ire from driving. After a brief overview of driving rehabilitation, various types of adaptive equipment for driving will be reviewed. The course will conclude with treatment approaches to assist a patient to be successful in learning to or returning to driving.
