Topic: One Handed Techniques for ADL/IADL Join us virtually during our quarterly meeting to network with your colleagues! Presenter​: ​Jamie L. Bergner, OTD, OTR/L, CHT, COMT

 About the Presenter: Jamie Bergner is a practicing occupational therapist, certified hand therapist, and certified orthopedic manual therapist at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in outpatient orthopedics. She graduated with her post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy with an elective track in education in 2016 and a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2000. Jamie is in the faculty-in-training program for the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine-US Hand and Upper Extremity Track and teaches upper extremity continuing education courses nationally. In addition, she teaches in the Cox College Master of Science Occupational Therapy Program in Springfield, Missouri through an online platform as an adjunct professor. Passionate about evidence-informed care, Jamie mentors level II fieldwork students and new therapists, and is actively involved in conducting research and promoting clinician-led research pathways at Vanderbilt. She is a published author through the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, OT Practice, and the Journal of Hand Therapy and has an accepted conference abstract through the American Journal of Occupational Therapy. She has presented at numerous conferences including the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee: Wisconsin Hand Experience, AOTA national conference, TNOTA state conference, and the American Society of Hand Therapy national conference. Jamie is a National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) volunteer. She has a husband of 18 years, and two active children ages 13 and 8. She loves spending time with her family outside hiking, biking, and traveling.
